Enroll in LCS Program to Become a P4P Youth Advocate
P4P Youth Advocate General Experience:
Youth Advocate must have first-hand foster care and/or adoption lived experience;
Training and awareness of the child welfare system and its impact on youth/families;
Understanding of grief/loss and trauma;
Experience working with/knowledge of and or sensitivity of diverse populations
Job Responsibilities:
Our executive team is looking for a part-time youth advocate (5-15 hours per week). Partnerships for Permanence provides a unique opportunity to work from home and P4P office (hybrid work setting). The Youth Advocate will work closely with the P4P CEO and LCS program coordinators.

Ability to incorporate family/child’s voice and culture into discussion/plan
Ability to identify and use a strengths-based approach when assisting families

Emotionally and physically stable to make long-term commitment as a Youth Advocate
Eligibility:
Must have successfully completed the Leaders Changing the System (LCS) 1.0 and 2.0.
Must have great verbal and written communication skills.
Must have interest and passion advocating for individuals in the child welfare system.
Must have experience working with diverse and vulnerable populations.
